The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification is the most widely required workplace first aid certification in the UK and for businesses across Cheshire, it's now easier than ever to get your team trained. Our EFAW course leads to the Highfield Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, the nationally recognised certificate employers rely on.

The course is delivered entirely in person by our expert instructor in a single 4-hour session. There's no online module or pre-learning to complete beforehand; everything is done there and then on the day. We run two sessions a day, morning (9am–1pm) and afternoon (2pm–6pm), at our Congleton venue or your own premises, so it's easy to fit around the working day. It's practical, hands-on and built around real workplaces, not jargon.

Every certificate is awarded by Highfield Qualifications, regulated by Ofqual and fully recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), meeting your legal requirement under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981. From £85 per person, it's a straightforward, HSE-compliant way to keep your Cheshire workplace covered.

Course format

Each 4-hour session takes up to 12 people. If you're booking as a group and would prefer a private session or a full-day format, get in touch and we'll arrange the right size and timing for your team.

Just yourself and your ID. We recommend suitable loose clothing as there will be physical activity. Bottled water is provided but you are more than welcome to bring your own refreshments.
